• Data you actively submit, e.g. via registration or contact forms.

3. AI Assistant (EU AI Act Transparency Notice)

On this website, a voice-based AI assistant is available to answer questions about Vienna Blockchain Week. In line with the transparency obligation of Art. 50 of the EU Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (AI Act), we point out: when using the assistant, you interact with an AI system, not with a human. The assistant provides general event information only; answers may contain errors and do not constitute legal, financial or investment advice.

Use of the assistant is voluntary and only starts after you click “Start Conversation” and grant microphone access. During the conversation, your voice data and transcripts are processed to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). The technical service provider (processor) is bitpull.ai; the audio connection is transmitted encrypted. Conversations are not used to build user profiles. All questions can of course also be sent to us by email at contact@neob.ai.

4. Legal Bases

• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests) for the operation and security of the website.
• Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for analytics and marketing cookies, embedded third-party content and the AI assistant.
• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/pre-contractual steps) for ticket-related requests and processing your enquiries.

5. External Content

With your consent, this website embeds third-party content such as YouTube videos and posts from X (Twitter). When such content is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider, which may be located outside the EU/EEA. Without your consent, this content remains blocked.

6. Retention

Server logs are typically retained for up to 30 days unless a longer retention is required for security reasons. Cookie and local-storage lifetimes depend on their category; the cookie consent itself is stored for a maximum of 180 days before we ask again.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Complaints can be addressed to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
